'25 Astronomy Campout | Ages 12-14
Ages 12-14. Join us for an unforgettable astronomy campout weekend at Bruneau Dunes State Park! Spend two days exploring towering sand dunes, hiking through Idaho’s desert landscape, and camping under some of the clearest night skies in the Northwest. You'll visit Idaho’s only public observatory to look through giant telescopes, discovering planets and constellations!
WHI x IRU End of Float Season Clean Up & SUP | All Ages
All Ages & Parents Welcome. We're heading back to the Boise River with Idaho Rivers United for their final Float Clean Up Celebration! The Day will start with cleaning a section of the river bank and then transition to Quinn’s Pond where there will be stand up paddle boarding opportunities, info booths, lawn games, and more!

Whether you're a first-time climber or ready to scale new heights, this outdoor rock climbing experience is the perfect way to step out of your comfort zone and discover what you're capable of.

Ages 15-18. With professional guides leading the way, you’ll learn climbing techniques, safety skills, and how to support each other on and off the rock. Surrounded by stunning canyon views and encouraging teammates, you'll conquer climbs, make new friends, and leave feeling strong, empowered, and inspired. No experience needed.

IRU brings together volunteers who are passionate about the health of the Boise River and want to help us keep this section of the greenbelt clean! Let's show up for our river and community through river stewardship!

Kick-Off Camping Trip - Ages 12-14
Ages 12-14. Join us an overnight camping trip exploring Idaho's beautiful backroads and Middle Fork of the Boise River campgrounds. Along the way, you’ll learn basic camping skills, and bond with fellow adventurers through trail snacks, campfire conversations, and star-gazing.

Ages 15-18. This is a full day trip with a beautiful winter drive to the hot springs, a soak in the different pools that Kirkham has to offer, lunch, and a beautiful drive back to Boise.

Ages 12-14. This is a full day trip with a beautiful winter drive to the hot springs, a soak in the different pools that Kirkham has to offer, lunch, and a beautiful drive back to Boise.
Astronomy Campout
Ages 12-14. Where else is better to gaze at the stars than on top of the slice of Idaho that is covered in darkness? This Southern Idaho camping trip will be full of day hikes, exploration, and star gazing galore at Craters of the Moon National Monument. This is a car camping and day hike format. This trip is great for all abilities and experiences levels.
Rock Climbing Series
Ages 15-18. This is one of our final adventures for the 2024 Summer season! We are very excited to be partnering with Idaho Mountain Guides once again for a weekend adventure full of climbing. No experience or equipment necessary. Wild Hearts will also provide lunch and snacks along with leadership, and all group and safety gear for climbing will be provided by IMG.
Leadership Summit Camping Trip
Ages 15-18. Join us for our first leadership summit camping weekend. This adventure will focus on leadership development and discovering each person's leadership style. This trip will not be without adventure though - we will explore the area around the campsite and get to know Idaho's outdoors all while building leadership skills.
