Astronomy Campout Adventure
Ages 12-14.
Join us for an unforgettable astronomy campout weekend at Bruneau Dunes State Park! Spend two days exploring towering sand dunes, hiking through Idaho’s desert landscape, and camping under some of the clearest night skies in the Northwest. You'll visit Idaho’s only public observatory to look through giant telescopes, discovering planets and constellations!
With campfires, s’mores, and new friends by your side, this is the perfect mix of science, adventure, and fun. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and get ready for a weekend of discovery, confidence, and stargazing you’ll never forget! This is a car camping and day hike format. This trip is great for all abilities and experiences levels.

Trip Deposit
Please pay the 100% refundable deposit that will finalize your spot on this trip. *Registration is not complete without the full trip payment being received.
The deposit will be returned to you after completion of the adventure unless you select to donate it. If there is any reason you cannot pay the deposit, please contact the Programs Coordinator.
If this deposit is sold out, the trip has filled. Regardless, you are welcome to register to be placed on the waitlist and, later, notified if a spot becomes available.
Cancelation Policy
Please notify Wild Hearts within 72 hours of registering or 2 weeks prior to the adventure (whichever is first) if you will not be able to attend the adventure. This allows time to open the spot for another participant to join.
Cancelations made outside of the cancelation policy window will not be eligible for a trip deposit refund.
